My name is Shehzad Ahmed, and I am currently pursuing my PhD at Ohio University under the direction of Dr. Todd Eisworth. I have an M.Sc in Mathematics from Boise State University, where my advisor was Dr. Andrés Caicedo.
My primary area of interest is set theory, though I occasionally get sucked into the wormhole that is algebra. In particular, my dissertation research has been in (broadly speaking) combinatorial set theory, while my masters thesis was related to determinacy and descriptive set theory. Right now I’m using this blog to write down math related thoughts that I have every once in a while.
